A) Groundwater

1.  Transport mechanisms of major anions and cations in the groundwater of shallow aquifers (e.g. NO3).

2. Trace metals in municipal and agricultural groundwater wells (e.g. Zn, Cd and Pb).

3. Distribution and sources of PCBs, PAHs, in the groundwater.

4. Correlation between pesticides and elevated Cl in the groundwater.

5. Elevated nitrate in the groundwater sources (by using of O and N isotopes) and health implications (e.g. Gaza Strip).

B) Wastewater and sludge

1. Distribution and buildup of adsorbable organic halogens (AOX) in wastewater and sludge of municipal wastewater treatment plants (e.g. Gaza Strip).

2. Distribution and buildup of zinc (Zn) in wastewater and sludge of municipal wastewater treatment plants (e.g. Gaza Strip).

3. Performance of domestic wastewater treatment plants and the potential use of treated wastewater and sludge in agricultural sector (e.g. Gaza Strip).

4. Characteristics of industrial wastewater and the proposed impacts on domestic wastewater treatment plants and surrounding environment.

C) Soil

1. Interaction between pollution point sources (wastewater treatment plants, solid waste dumping sites) and soil pollution.

2. Soil as a mediator between surface pollution and groundwater contamination.

3. AOX in soil as a result of sludge application.

I greatly appreciate receiving your comments and any kind of cooperation.
