| Comments |
This flatworm species is transparent and the internal organs can be
seen through the body surface. The gut is highly branched to provide transportation
of nutrients to all body parts. It is the multi-branched gut which gives
these worms the name Polyclada (from the Greek, meaning "many
branches"). |
